Who processes your data
KV Assistent OÜ, registry code 16584434, email info@kinnisvara-haldus.ee. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. We are established in Estonia and the applicable law is Estonian law together with the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
What we collect and why
Enquiry forms
When you fill in a form on this site, we collect only what you enter yourself: your name, email address, phone number, the address and details of the property (year built, floor area, condition, renovations done), the covers and sums you are interested in, and, for commercial property, the company name and registry code.
We use this only to answer your enquiry and to prepare an offer. The legal basis is steps taken prior to entering into a contract, Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation.
Insurance enquiries
To obtain an insurance quote we pass the data in your enquiry to NB Kindlustusmaakler AS, an Estonian insurance broker, which requests offers from Estonian insurers. The insurer receives the data needed to assess the risk. Without passing the data on, no offer can be prepared.
Where we ask for a personal identification code or a registry code, we use it only to make the enquiry and to prepare the quote.
Accounting and management services
If we enter into a contract, we also process the data needed to provide the service and to meet our obligations under Estonian law. Source accounting documents are kept for seven years under the Estonian Accounting Act.
Website statistics
We use Google Analytics to see which pages are read and where visitors come from. Analytics runs only if you have given your consent in the cookie bar. You can withdraw that consent at any time.
How long we keep data
- Enquiries that do not lead to a contract: up to 12 months
- Data relating to a client relationship: for the term of the contract and three years after it ends
- Source accounting documents: seven years
- Website statistics: up to 14 months
Who we share data with
- NB Kindlustusmaakler AS and, through it, the insurers, for insurance enquiries only
- Our IT and email service providers
- Our accounting software provider
- The Estonian Tax and Customs Board and other authorities where the law requires it
We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- find out what data we hold about you and receive a copy of it
- have inaccurate data corrected
- have data erased where we have no lawful basis to keep it
- restrict processing or object to it
- withdraw a consent you have given, at any time
- lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate, aki.ee
